First week of school

It is Friday and Emilee has made it through her first week of "real" school. She started kindergarten on Monday. So many changes in just 5 days, the biggest being that she doesn't get naps anymore. By 7pm each night, she has been in bed and asleep by 7:30. This is the child that has fought sleep since the day she entered this world. We went to open house last night and she was very proud to show me her cubby, chair, and mail box. She has a wonderful teacher who has been teaching 5 year olds for over 17 years. I think that it is going to be a great and wonderful year.
Alex is having a few issues, because Emilee is at a different school. He just wants to go to Redcliffe. He is as big as Emilee, and can do anything she does; so he has a hard time understanding that he is only 3 and not old enough for the big school yet.
As many of you already know, our family has undergone some very big changes recently. We are now a family of three at our house. We are working through this by praying(alot) and forming new routines. We are starting to adjust and things are looking brighter. We still pray that things will resolve and our family will be whole again; but we really just have to leave it in God's hand. There is nothing that any person can do; only God knows His plan for us. We have to sit back, listen and the toughest part---obey Him when He gives us directions...
Please keep us in your prayers. We need the prayers and you could always use the practice.
